Protection from Lightning

The effect of a protection from lightning spell differs according to the recipient of the magic - the druid or some other creature. If the spell is cast upon the druid, it confers complete invulnerability to normal lightning/electrical sources and to exposure to magical lightning and electrical attacks such as shocking grasp, call lightning, lightning bolt, javelin of lightning, blue dragon breath, bronze dragon lightning, storm giant lightning bolt, electric eel jolt, boggart touch, will-o-wisp, behir attack lightning quasi-elemental, etc. until an accumulation of 12 hit points of potential damage per level of experience of the druid has been absorbed by the protection from lightning spell, at which time the spell is negated. Otherwise the spell lasts for 1 turn per level of experience of the druid. If the spell is cast upon another creature, it gives invulnerability to normal lightning, gives a bonus of +4 on saving throw die rolls made versus all lightning/electrical attacks, and reduces damage sustained from magical lightning/electric by 50%.
