About

I’ve never believed that the best solutions begin with technology.

They begin with understanding people, how they work, and the challenges they face every day.

A Career Built Across Systems

My career has taken me through technical support, marketing, product information, business analysis, software development, and workflow automation. Moving among those responsibilities gave me a practical understanding of how information travels through a business, where it breaks down, and what people need to do their jobs.

At OWC, technical knowledge and product documentation became the foundation for work in product information architecture and automation. At Golf Gifts & Gallery, establishing two Shopify storefronts meant first building the structured product information needed to support them. At Sustainable Staffing, my work expanded into business applications, integrations, reporting, and operational workflows.

I’ve often had to learn whatever a problem required, then carry the work from understanding the process through building and refining the solution. That’s what I mean by “Jack of All Trades, Master of Systems.” The breadth helps me connect business needs, information, software, and the people using them.

The Mac Technology Connection

My professional experience with Apple technologies began at OWC in 2004. I initially handled phone support from a PC, then bought a G3 iMac from a coworker so I could become familiar with the operating system I was helping customers troubleshoot.

Over more than fifteen years at OWC, documenting hardware and software changes, compatibility, and product details gave me a deep working knowledge of the Apple ecosystem. That experience remains a substantial part of my technical background.

macOS is still my preferred working environment, although I’m also comfortable working with Windows and Linux.

How I Work Today

I build software and automation around the work people actually need to accomplish. Depending on the problem, that may involve a business application, an integration, a reporting tool, or a better way to organize and publish information.

AI is now part of that process. I use it to help with analysis, implementation, debugging, testing, and documentation. I remain responsible for understanding the requirements, making design decisions, reviewing the work, and checking that the result serves its intended purpose.

Outside work, I enjoy photography, fishing, and building tools for tabletop role-playing games. They’re a few of the interests that keep me curious and give me something different to work on.
